Picking out your outfit every morning for school can add a ton of unnecessary stress to your day. I styled 5 easy back-to-school outfits for you guys to copy to make getting dressed in the morning way easier. Sometimes clothes look cuter on the hanger than they do on, or the perfect outfit you planned in your head looks like a mess.
I know, personally, some mornings my entire wardrobe ends up on the floor and I end up being late for class and showing up in leggings and a sweatshirt. While that isn’t the
The best way to always have the cutest outfits is to plan your outfits a week in advance. Then when you wake up, all you have to do is take it off the hanger and put it on! To make it easier for you, I picked out 5 easy back-to-school outfits for each day of the week that are easy to
Monday
Monday’s are always the hardest days to wake up and go to school, but this outfit will make your day so much better. The pieces of this outfit are extremely cute, yet so comfy that you’ll feel like you’re wearing leggings all day.
These mom jeans are the comfiest pair of pants that I have ever owned. They are the curvy mom jeans from American Eagle and are so soft and stretchy. Paired with a basic tee, like this one from Zara, and a cardigan, like this one from Abercrombie, you can’t go wrong.
And, let’s be honest, cardigans are the best to throw on when you don’t know what to wear. Throw these pieces on in the morning with converse and you’ll be ready to go for that 8 AM class.
Tuesday
Now that the Monday blues are over, you might want to dress up a bit nicer. Personally, for me, I feel way better about myself and feel more productive when I’m dressed my best. This simple outfit is easy to throw on and will have you feeling confident all day.
A super basic shirt and a dress are all you need to complete this look. I paired this long sleeve white shirt from Dynamite with this Topshop corduroy zip-up dress, and voila! Now you’re looking extra cute for school and for fall. Just add tights, boots, and a jacket and you’re ready for your day.
Wednesday
Dresses and skirts are nice every once in a while for school, but sometimes it’s easier to throw on a pair of jeans and a shirt, especially so you don’t feel
Instead of wearing a plain t-shirt, wear a blouse or tank top instead. To add more dimension, add a stylish jacket like this corduroy forest green one from Zara. These pieces are basics and can be found anywhere, even in your own closet.
Thursday
It’s almost the last day of the week before the weekend, which means you’re allowed to look a little lazy. It’s been a long week, and let’s be real, dressing nicely every day is exhausting. Pick a cheat day every week to wear comfy clothes like leggings and a sweatshirt.
I like to pair my leggings with a cute colourful sweater, such as this pink and lilac tie-dye one from American Eagle. To dress up the look a bit, I like to throw an oversized denim jacket such as this sherpa-lined one that is perfect for colder days. Throw your hair up with a matching scrunchie and put on cute boots, and then your lazy day outfit is a bit more stylish.
Friday
Did you ever have dress-up Friday’s in high school? If not, it was an unofficial thing that some people would do every Friday where they would dress up nicer than the rest of the week. This could mean heeled booties or dresses and skirts. Dress up Friday’s inspired my choice for this outfit. I love wearing skirts to school, especially with a cool pair of tights.
Again, all of these pieces are basic so you can find them at any store. This corduroy skirt is the perfect colour and texture for fall, and it is perfectly paired with this mock neck ribbed shirt. A leather jacket completes the look and dresses the outfit up a bit more.
Accessorize with ankle boots and lace tights for a completed look. This outfit is easy to copy with your own pieces from your own closet, or you can make your own fancy outfit for Friday.
