There’s a new cafe in town! Rhubarb Cafe and Cocktails recently opened in Edmonton’s Manchester Square and it has pastries, food, coffee and, of course, cocktails.
I went to Rhubarb Cafe and Cocktails for a birthday party and it was a lot of fun. There is a large main space with plenty of tables and an upstairs area with a bar, comfy couches and chairs, and an indoor “patio” that looks over the atrium in Manchester Square.
My friend booked the upstairs patio for her party and it was fun having a private space that also didn’t feel closed off from the rest of the cafe. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and brought all of our food and drinks upstairs to us.
I ordered an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and a caesar salad. My latte came with oat milk instead, however, I didn’t mind or complain as it didn’t matter to me and I’m sure they were overwhelmed with the influx of orders from such a large group. The caesar salad was delicious, however, it was small and average for the price. The price for both items was just over $23.
Rhubarb Cafe and Cocktails also had a variety of pastries available, which looked delicious. There is also a signature cocktail list.
Overall, I’d love to try Rhubarb Cafe and Cocktails again. I loved the decor and the overall aesthetic of the space and plan to visit again.
