It’s the most wonderful time of the year! When do you decorate your house for Christmas? My family always decorates right after Halloween. I love decorating and I’ve built up a collection over the last couple of years of Christmas decor that I absolutely adore.
My bedroom has a white, silver and light pink theme going on which makes my room look like a magical sparkly forest. My closet and office has a brighter theme with pink, blue, gold and white decorations. Keep reading to see photos of my Christmas decor and where to shop for my favourite pieces.

Cozy Corner
I love this corner of my bedroom and I am especially obsessed with the frosted tree. It looks like it came straight out of a forest. I decorated it with silver, white and light pink ball ornaments with a few special ornaments mixed in.
Last year, I decorated my white fireplace mantel with different kinds of white trees. I love the selection I bought and how they look together. I mixed in a white fluffy reindeer, pink reindeer head and a sparkly pink “believe” sign. On the floor, I placed tall vases of fake snow-covered flowers.
The real showstopper is the giant gingerbread house that I found at Homesense last year. I am obsessed with it and the only place it fits is on my bedside table. It’s a statement piece.
I kept my other bedside table simple with a white ceramic house and two trees.
Festive Bedding
I’m not the type of person to go out and buy Christmas-themed sheets, but I love decorating my bed in other ways. The sparkly wreath and matching garland from Michaels are so whimsical. They look like they’re dripping in diamonds.
I also threw a few neutral coloured Christmas pillows on my bed to make the set-up even more festive.
Seasonal Shelves
Bookshelves are perfect for decorating. I have a whole wall of shelves, however, they are very full of books. For Christmas, I tucked away some books that I don’t plan on reading during the holidays to make room for decor like this adorable village house and tree. I want to start collecting village houses so that one day I’ll have a collection, but for now I just have the one house.
Shelves are a great place for signs as well. I have this large “Don’t get your tinsel in a tangle” sign that fits perfectly against the books.
In my closet, I also have four shelves that I use for decor. I like to mix Christmas decor with objects that were already on the shelf before like my lipstick holder. I love how it looks and adding decor to shelves is an easy way to decorate.
Desk Decor
My office desk has so much space on it and I love jazzing it up for Christmas. I have a mini pink tree that sits in the corner along with tiny white winter animals. My desk decor theme is black, pink and gold so I have a gorgeous gold reindeer and a sparkly pale pink reindeer. Then I also have two sparkly trees with bright ornaments. Everything ties together perfectly.

Your space looks so cozy! I love that you picked one or two colors and just ran with them. It helps the whole decorating for the holidays make so much sense (instead of putting out everything you’ve ever purchased or have been given). 😉
