Pastels are a regular part of my wardrobe, but pastels aren’t often associated with winter. I’m here to show you that you can wear winter pastels in the winter without looking like an Easter egg.

The key to styling winter pastels is having a mix of neutrals and pastels. Whites and creams are great to wear in the winter and they pair perfectly with pastel blues, pinks, greens and yellows. They aren’t typical winter colours, but you can style them in a way that fits the season. I prefer to have a variety of neutral coats that I can wear over pastel blouses, sweaters and shirts.
The Abercrombie and Fitch Wool-Blend Dad Coat is a great basic coat to have and comes in a variety of neutral colours. I love the light grey because it pairs well with other light colours and pastels like this Abercrombie and Fitch Easy-Fitting Turtleneck Sweater Dress in pastel blue. Add a neutral scarf with pastel accents like this Dynamite Madras Fringe Oversized Scarf.
The key is balance. Only wear one or two pastel items at a time to avoid looking like you’re wearing a rainbow. This Abercrombie and Fitch Long-Length Sherpa Shirt Jacket looks great over pastel shirts like this Abercrombie and Fitch LuxeLoft Date Night Sweater in yellow or this Long-Sleeve Cozy Crewneck Bodysuit in green.
Accessorize your outfits with pastels like this Ardene Rib-Knit Pompom Beanie and this Old Navy Cable-Knit Scarf. You can also spruce up your outfits with fun pastel pieces like this Dynamite Shaggy Faux Fur Jacket in pink or this Lightweight Packable Puffer Vest in green.
Pastel colours are not only for spring or summer. Winter whites look great with touches of pastels and layering pastels with neutral pieces makes all the difference. Shop my winter pastel picks below and incorporate winter pastels into your wardrobe!

I like the pastel colours for winter. I usually go for pastel colours in spring/summer and darker colours in autumn/winter but recently bought a red winter coat as though I should brighten up the darker days a bit!
