My life changed the moment I discovered dry shampoo. My hair gets greasy extremely quickly. Why? I couldn’t tell you. Maybe because I touch my hair a million times, maybe it’s just my hair type, but my hair starts getting noticeably greasy the second day without washing. It was always something I was insecure about, and then I found dry shampoo.
I always used the Batiste Dry Shampoo, which I love and still use, but I kept hearing raving reviews about the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo. I recently bought it after I ran out of the other dry shampoo I was using, and I was so excited to try it. I’ve been using it for about two months now, so keep reading to see what I think!

The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo retails for $34 CAD for a four ounce bottle, but also comes in a mini size for $18 or a value size for $51. The product description on Sephora states that it’s a dry shampoo “that absorbs oil, sweat, and odor for ultra-clean hair, plus a time-release fragrance that delivers a light, clean scent all day.” The formula contains fast-absorbing powders that soak up oil and sweat without leaving residue or buildup.
The Review
Ok, I have lots to say about the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo. The first thing is that it smells amazing, however, the scent is really strong, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to scents. The scent is fresh and clean, and lasts all day long. Someone even thought it was my perfume once, so that tells you how strong it is. I don’t mind the scent, but it is overpowering.
The product itself is amazing. What I don’t love about the Batiste Dry Shampoo is that it looks like I have dry shampoo in my hair, even though I’m blonde. The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo sprays lightly and is a fine mist, so it doesn’t build up in your hair. The colour of it also blends in easily.
The last thing I want to mention is how amazing the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo makes your hair look. The product adds so much volume to my hair and makes it look good even if I didn’t style my hair that day.
I highly recommend trying out the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, and I now see why everyone raves about it. Would I buy it again? Possibly, however it is pricey for dry shampoo, especially when I could get a decent drugstore dry shampoo for much less.
