I received a sample of the ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara a few months back and it’s made its way into my mascara rotation. I wasn’t too familiar with the ILIA brand and this was the first product I’d tried, and I was impressed.
Sometimes it can be hard to find a mascara that works with your lash type, but the ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara is great for lengthening and lifting. It’s become one of my favourite mascaras to use on natural or no makeup days.

The Product
The ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara retails for $38 CAD and is an award-winning clean mascara that lengthens, lifts, and separates. The formula is long-lasting and resists clumping, flaking and smudging. The dual-sided wand catches every lash for eye-opening length and definition. It comes in one shade, After Midnight – a soft black.
Highlighted ingredients include:
- Arginine (Keratin), a haircare hero that helps fortify and reinforce lashes from within.
- Organic shea butter, which weightlessly conditions and adds a soft, flexible feel.
- Beeswax, to seal in moisture for nourished, healthy-looking lashes.
The Review
I’ve been using the ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara for a few months and I love how it makes my lashes look. My lashes are an average length — not noticeably long, but not short either — and are pretty thin. I love using lengthening mascaras to make them look more dramatic, and the ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara does just that.
The ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara lengthens my lashes without any clumps or flakes. I’m always wary when trying new mascaras because so many top rated mascaras smudge after a few hours of wear. I’m happy to report that the ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara doesn’t smudge.
I love the shape of the wand, as it applies the mascara evenly. The wand is a bit big and I was worried the product would easily get all over the eyelid when applying, but it doesn’t.
I wouldn’t recommend using this mascara if you’re doing a glam makeup look, but it’s perfect for a natural look. I use this mascara on minimal makeup days or when I’m going out but don’t feel like applying makeup at all.
PROS: Lengthens eyelashes, no smudging, clean brand

Would I buy this product again? I’d definitely consider buying this product again!
