The fall season is well underway and I wanted to share my fall essentials and favourites with you! I love the lead up to the holidays, including the seasonal drinks, chillier weather and, of course, fall fashion. I’m one of those people who counts down to Pumpkin Spice Latte release day.
However, the one thing I dislike about fall and winter is the dry weather. It affects my skin and my hair, meaning I have to switch up my beauty routines. If you face similar problems, keep reading to see what products I love using to keep my hair and skin hydrated in the fall!
My fall essentials encompasses everything from how to make your home extra cozy this fall to ways I’m keeping myself occupied as the days start getting shorter.

Beauty Fall Essentials
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm
The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is my newest beauty obsession. I ordered it in the shade “Poppy” and it’s become my go-to lip product. The colour is described as a coral, however, I find it has more red tones than orange, which I prefer.
It adds a pop of colour without being too bold and stark, so you can wear it with a full face of makeup or with little to no makeup. It hydrates the lips all day long and I bring it everywhere with me. This is a must-have if you suffer from chapped lips in the fall.
ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter
I’ve been on the hunt for the ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter for MONTHS, ever since it was compared to the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. I finally found it at Walmart and it’s become one of my favourite products. The people on TikTok were right — it is a Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter dupe.
The consistency and coverage is similar to the Charlotte Tilbury product, however, the shade range isn’t as wide. I have extremely pale skin and it’s often difficult finding foundations that match my skin tone. The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in the lightest shade is just barely a match for me, so I often mix it with another tinted moisturizer to get a perfect shade match for my skin.
The ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter’s lightest shade is still extremely dark and orange on me, even mixed with a lighter foundation. This is so disappointing because it’s inexpensive and the coverage is incredible. I’m still using it and it’s made my fall essentials list because I highly recommend buying this product if you can find your shade.
Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner
I included this product in my Spring Favourites, but it needed to be included again. I’ve been using the Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner for almost a year now and it’s continued to be my favourite shampoo and conditioner. I have a lot of hair that often gets dry and tangled in the colder months.
The Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner has already helped so much. My hair feels so smooth and hydrated, and I can go days without washing it and it still looks fresh and clean, which is amazing because my hair used to be super oily. I haven’t used drugstore hair products in a while, but I’m so impressed by this one that I recommend it to everyone.
Home Fall Essentials
Anthropologie Nathalie Lete Velvet Throw Blanket
I’ve been in love with this Nathalie Lete Velvet Throw Blanket from Anthropologie for a year now and I finally got it this summer. Before I moved into my apartment, I could picture myself having this blanket thrown over a pink couch and now I’m living that dream.
I’ll admit, it’s an expensive blanket, but it’s such high quality and it’s so soft. It also has a squirrel on it, which is why I wanted it (I love squirrels). It’s my favourite blanket ever and I’m so glad I splurged.
Candle Warmer Lamp
I love the smell of candles, however, I have a rowdy cat who would definitely light herself on fire if I lit a candle. I also hate having my big lights on in my apartment and wanted to add different lighting options, so I thought this Amazon Candle Warmer lamp would be the perfect addition to my apartment. I put it in my book corner and it gives off such a cozy vibe.
Emily Henry Art Prints
Emily Henry is one of my favourite authors, so I just knew I needed these art prints as soon as I saw them. I bought these Emily Henry prints (PWMOV, Book Lovers, Beach Read) before I even moved into my apartment because I knew I’d use them eventually. The designs are so simple yet aesthetic and you could hang them anywhere. They are also digital downloads, so they are inexpensive and you can choose which sizes you want to print.
Anthropologie Nathalie Lete Dinnerware
As I mentioned above, I love squirrels and the Nathalie Lete for Anthropologie collection features plenty of squirrels. So, not only did I buy the blanket but I also bought the mug, dessert plate and cereal bowl. These are definitely the most expensive dishes I’ve ever owned, but I love them. They’re my pride and joy. They’re so gorgeous, well-made, and make me happy everytime I use them.
Lifestyle Fall Essentials
As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter, I’ve been staying home more frequently and watching more TV. I wanted to watch something to get me in the mood for the season, so I decided to rewatch Pretty Little Liars. I haven’t watched Pretty Little Liars since it aired, so I’ve been loving it. It’s so addictive and it’s great background noise for when I’m working.
I used to be obsessed with The Real Housewives franchise, but it’s been a while since I’ve watched a new episode. I started watching the new season of The Real Housewives of New York and I’m loving the new cast and what they’ve done with the show.
Speaking of reality TV, Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise recently started up again so I’ve been dedicating three hours of my life to that every week. It’s the perfect brain break after a long week.
As for podcasts, I love listening to Dear Diary with Hannah Elise in the mornings when I’m getting ready for work. Hannah Elise is my favourite comfort Youtuber and her podcast is so calming to listen to.
Of course, my fall essentials wouldn’t be complete without the Starbucks Non-Dairy Pumpkin Spice Latte Coffee Creamer and Nespresso Pumpkin Spice Cake pods. This is my go-to for making a PSL at-home.
