I’ve always struggled with mild rosacea, and it’s never bothered me too much, but I love trying products that claim to help. I was looking for new products to try and found the Origins Dr. Andrew Weil Mega-Mushroom Relief and Resilience Soothing Cream. I’d tried the Origins Dr. Andrew Weil Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion in the past and liked it, so I couldn’t wait to try the cream.

The Review
The first thing to note about the Origins Dr. Andrew Weil Mega-Mushroom Relief and Resilience Soothing Cream is that a little goes a long way. The first time I used it, I had so much extra product on my hands. It’s recommended to use the cream morning and night, however, I only use it maybe once a week or so at night, as the cream makes my skin oily. However, it sinks into the skin nicely and feels hydrating.
My skin looks refreshed and glowy in the mornings after I use the cream, and my redness was slightly toned down. I think you’d see major results after continuously using it daily. One thing to note about the Origins Dr. Andrew Weil Mega-Mushroom Relief and Resilience Soothing Cream is that it is very greasy. It looks oily on the skin and feels oily. As someone with dry skin, it doesn’t bother me but it might feel different if you have naturally oily skin.
Is it worth the price? Possibly, if rosacea is something you struggle with and want to find a solution for. It’s not my favourite product, though and there are plenty of other products on the market that target redness and are inexpensive and efficient.
PROS: Hydrating, leaves skin looking refreshed and glowy
CONS: Oily finish, expensive
Would I buy this product again? I wouldn’t buy it again, as I’ve found other products that work better for my skin, but it’s worth trying if you have redness.
