We all know that wearing sunscreen is important, which is why it should be worn daily on your face. The problem is many sunscreens aren’t compatible under makeup. I’ve been a fan of Supergoop since I tried the Unseen Sunscreen last year, and I recently purchased the cult favourite Supergoop Glowscreen to try.

The Product
The Supergoop Glowscreen retails for $48 CAD and is a hydrating, makeup-gripping primer with SPF 40 and blue-light protection. The product has a pearlescent finish which leaves the skin with a luminous glow.
The highlighted ingredients are:
- Hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5, which boost moisture in the skin, leaving it feeling soft and nurtured,
- Sea lavender, which provides powerful antioxidant protection while also supporting long-lasting hydration, and
- Cocoa peptides, which protect the skin from blue-light damage
Supergoop Glowscreen is a daily sunscreen that can be worn on its own or as a makeup primer. It is an Allure Best of Beauty winner.
The Review
I purchased the Supergoop Glowscreen to wear as my daily face sunscreen on my recent vacation to Greece, and I was so happy.
The Supergoop Glowscreen is a tinted sunscreen, which I wasn’t aware of. I was nervous when I went to apply it and saw it was tinted because some tinted sunscreens are very orange. I am extremely pale, so an orange tinted sunscreen that doesn’t blend nice doesn’t do much for me. However, the Supergoop Glowscreen blends like a dream.
The tint is light and it blends with your natural skin tone easily, and blurs and evens out your skin tone. True to its name, the sunscreen is luminous and leaves the skin with a natural glow. You’ll look immediately sunkissed.
As a sunscreen, the product was effective. I wore it daily on my trip and re-applied throughout the day, and my face didn’t burn. The Supergoop Glowscreen is a great summer sunscreen, especially if you’re going on vacation. I skipped foundation most days because I loved how the Supergoop Glowscreen looked on my skin.
PROS: Glowy finish, tint blurs and evens skin tone, SPF 40
CONS: The glowy finish can be too shiny if you apply too much product
Would I buy this product again? Absolutely!
