If you’re a coffee addict like me then you know there’s nothing better than ANOTHER coffee shop opening up near your work. Good Earth Coffeeshop just opened a location in walking distance from my work, and I’ve been there numerous times already.
Good Earth is a Canadian coffee chain that began in Calgary, and there are three locations in Edmonton. The first time I went to the new location, located in The MacLaren building, I ordered my go-to iced vanilla latte. It was decent, but the show stopping drinks happen to be from the summer menu.
The Crème Brulé Cold Brew is sweet and tastes like a dessert. It has toffee syrup, a cream float and a drizzle of caramel sauce. It’s the perfect midday pick-me-up. The Passion Fruit Tea Lemonade is a yummy, refreshing caffeine-free option.
Good Earth also has a menu of food and bakery items, which is great if you’re in need of lunch or a quick snack. The coffee and walnut muffin is moist and light. The strawberry coconut scone and berry and white chocolate scone are large and sweet.
The atmosphere at Good Earth is friendly and I love working in the cafe. Stop by if you haven’t had the chance yet!
The new Edmonton Good Earth Coffeehouse is located at 10147 124 St.
