A while back, I won an Instagram giveaway for a gift card to Take Care Cafe, and I was so excited because the cafe looks SO cute. Did I go? Not until months and months later. It’s about a 25-minute drive from my house in an area that I never really go to, but after finally going, I’ve concluded that Take Care Cafe is worth the drive.
Take Care Cafe is located on 82 Avenue in the Ritchie area. The cafe is small, but feels large due to the bright interior and abundance of plants. It feels welcoming. What makes the space unique is it also shares a space with a barber shop. The cafe is in the front area and the barber shop is in the back, but can be seen from the cafe. It’s really cool and something I haven’t seen before in Edmonton.
As always, I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was delicious. The cups have Take Care-themed stickers on them, which are adorable and definitely ended up on my Instagram stories. There was also an array of pastries available and I can’t wait to try one next time I stop in. The cafe also hosts markets every once in a while, so follow them on social media for updates.
Take Care Cafe is located at 9621 82 Ave. NW.
