Woodrack Cafe is a quaint boho oasis in the city with delicious handcrafted lattes and vintage decor. Woodrack Cafe has three locations across the city in Kingsway Mall, Premium Outlet Mall and a flagship location in Old Strathcona.
I went to the Kingsway Mall location in mid-December and I ordered an oatmeal cookie latte and chocolate pretzel croissant. Both were incredibly delicious and I’ve been thinking about them ever since.
The latte smelled amazing and I sat in my car just waiting to taste it once it cooled down. It didn’t disappoint. It was creamy, sweet and tasted exactly like an oatmeal cookie. The chocolate pretzel croissant was also delicious. I ate it so fast I barely tasted it, but it was perfect combination of sweet and salty. It was made out of croissant dough, but shaped like a pretzel with chocolate and salt on top.
The rest of the menu consists of handcrafted lattes, classic coffee drinks, teas and a variety of pastries.
The cafe’s decor is made up of vintage and thrifted finds that are for sale. The stock is always changing so visit frequently to browse the dish ware, throws and other eclectic items. There were plenty of handmade lace tablecloths, glass vases and even pampas grass when I visited the cafe.
Woodrack Cafe is located at Entrance 1 at Kingsway Mall, #102, 10324 82 Ave in Old Strathcona and near Entrance 1 at Premium Outlet Mall.
