Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk
Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick ($43 CAD) is a cult classic and a must-have in your lipstick collection. Pillow Talk is an extremely versatile shade that works for every season, but it’s berry tones make it especially perfect for fall.
The nude-pink lipstick is matte, but also comes in a gloss formula. I love both, but find that the matte is more long-wearing compared to the gloss and is better for fall.
Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick in Fearless
I am absolutely obsessed with the Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick ($26 CAD) and think all the shades are incredible, but Fearless is my go-to fall lipstick colour. Fearless is described as a deep mauve rose and is what I would describe as a faded burgundy.
The formula is a matte cream lipstick and is similar to a lip stain. It applies creamy and dries to a matte, but it doesn’t dry out your lips like some matte lipsticks. The lipstick is long-wearing and lasts all day long (even if you’re wearing a face mask all day). It’s also one of the more affordable lipsticks.
Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss in Free Spirit
The Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss ($36 CAD) is a must-have lip gloss. I have a few different shades in this gloss and I’ve been loving the shade Free Spirit. It’s a lush pink-beige and is the perfect nude. I grab this gloss on natural makeup days because the colour is subtle, yet pigmented enough to pack a punch. The gloss also isn’t sticky and lasts quite a long time considering it’s a gloss.
Patrick Ta Monochrome Moment – Silky Lip Crème in She’s Confident
This lipstick is everything. I love lip crèmes because they are so silky, and they’re easy to apply. They also don’t dry out your lips. The Patrick Ta Silky Lip Crème ($32 CAD) formula is incredible. It has a matte finish similar to the Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick, but is creamier. I love the shade She’s Confident, which is a rose-beige that is a bit on the darker side making it perfect for moody fall days.
Bite Beauty Power Move Hydrating Soft Matte Lipstick in Tannin
Everyone needs a staple red lipstick in their makeup collection and Bite Beauty’s Power Move Hydrating Soft Matte Lipstick ($37 CAD) in the shade Tannin is exactly that. This brick red coloured lipstick is the perfect red for fall. It’s not bright red and is more on the rusty side. It’s easy to apply (which is important because red lipstick can be messy to work with) and the formula is extremely pigmented.
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sell Out
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks ($29 CAD) are cult classics and have been a staple for beauty lovers for years. There’s a reason everyone loves these lipsticks and the formula has come so far.
The shade Sell Out is a matte pink brown shade, and is cool-toned compared to the other lipsticks I’ve listed. Everyone should have at least one cool toned lipstick for fall and winter, and this the one.
Sephora Collection #LipStories Lipstick in Yum Yum
You can’t go wrong with Sephora Collection’s #LipStories Lipsticks ($10 CAD). They are the most affordable lipsticks and the formulas are great for the price. They come in matte, metallic, and satin finishes so you can choose your desired finish.
I love the shade Yum Yum, which is a satin-finish red brown lipstick. The shade reminds me of the classic brown lipstick that was popular in the 90s and it is so fitting for the fall season.
