The NYX Suede Matte Lipstick in “Spicy” is the perfect holiday red lipstick. It retails for $12 and is a smooth lipstick that glides on easily and dries down to a matte. The shade “Spicy” is a bright poppy red.
The Review
I never wear red lipstick unless it’s Christmas because it’s such a pain to apply. It stains the skin and is so messy if you go outside of your lips. The NYX Suede Matte Lipstick is easy to apply because it glides on and the colour is extremely pigmented. I pair it with the NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner for extra caution. I highly recommend getting both products because using lip liner before the lipstick makes applying the lipstick all that easier.
I like that the formula is a suede finish because the lipstick feels soft even though it’s matte. Usually matte lipsticks feel dry and cause the lips to crack after a few hours of wear, but the NYX Suede Matte Lipstick almost feels like a creamy lip stain once it dries.
The NYX Suede Matte Lipstick is also affordable, so you’re getting a quality product for an unbeatable price. I highly recommend the NYX Suede Matte Lipstick in “Spicy” for the holidays.
