Some liners are too wet, others too dry. There are matte liners and shiny liners. The Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner is the perfect in-between. It’s matte, which gives the liner a natural looking finish and it goes on like a marker, making it easy to clean up any errors.

The Review
I used to wear liquid liner daily and thought of myself as something like an expert when it came to doing it. Over the last few years, I’ve stopped doing eyeliner as often and lost my skills, but the Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner is so easy to use.
What I like most about it is that it goes on like a marker or a pen, and, even though it’s waterproof, it’s not hard to get off. This makes it easy to clean up any mistakes that you make. The tip of the liner is very pointed, allowing you to achieve thin, precise lines or thicker lines.
The Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner is the first matte liquid liner I’ve tried and I’m in love. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a non-matte liner. The liner looks so natural.
One thing to note is that it can smudge a bit and it’s not as longwearing as some other liquid eyeliners.
PROS: Matte, easy to use, precise tip
CONS: Not long-wearing
Would I buy this again? Yes!
