I Tried the Foreo Luna Cleansing Brush

If you had asked me what a Foreo Luna fofo was a few months ago, I would have asked if that was even a real thing. When I received the Foreo Luna cleansing brush in a FabFitFun box, I was skeptical about its purpose and if it would even do anything. I decided since it was my first time trying the product, it would be great to document the progress in a blog post to see if it really worked!  

According to the Foreo website, the Luna fofo is “the world’s first 2-in-1 smart facial cleansing brush”. The silicone cleanser analyzes your skin and gives you a personalized skincare routine with every use. The Luna fofo also uses T-Sonic pulsations to create a deeper cleanse of oils, dirt, leftover makeup, and dead cells. External and internal skin conditions, hydration, changes in climate, and diet are the prime focus of the fofo’s analysis. Your skin score that is based on these factors will show up in the Foreo app. 

There are only four steps to using the Foreo Luna fofo cleansing brush, as recommended by the Foreo website. First, download the Foreo app and sync the device. Second, do the personalized skin test. Three, apply your moisturizer and dampen your skin. And lastly, follow the steps according to your personalized skincare routine put together by the Foreo Luna app. 

The app’s statistics after my first use shocked me. I felt like I had pretty good skin, but according to the app, I wasn’t doing as great of a job with my skincare routine as I thought. After doing the personalized skin test, where you hold the device to your face so the sensors can gather information, it said that my skin lacks moisture and looks 2 years older than my age. It also gave me a skincare rating of 66 out of 100. 

My skin type ranges from extremely dry in the Winter to normal during the rest of the year. I hoped that the Foreo Luna fofo would help even out the texture and dry spots in my skin while also keeping it moisturized. I was doubtful this would happen, but my personal statistics on the Foreo app show that it has indeed made my skin better.

After using the device for about 4 months, my statistics changed drastically. My skincare rating went from a 66/100 to an 80/100, and my skin age is accurate.

I’ll admit, I was a bit on the fence after using it the first couple of times, even after reading the raving reviews.  However, after using the device for a few months, I have turned into an avid fan of the Foreo Luna fofo. 

I couldn’t imagine not using this device in my daily morning and nighttime skincare routine. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to get to know their skin better. It is a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth it.
