Edmonton, it’s time to embrace your healing era! ✨ I had the chance to attend the grand opening of HEAL Wellness’ University of Alberta location, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. There’s nothing better than a fresh, delicious acai bowl—and let’s be honest, Edmonton doesn’t have too many spots known for them.
This new location is ideal for students looking for a healthy snack or a cozy spot to study or catch up with friends between classes. With plenty of tables, tons of natural light, and a decor style that’s airy, natural, and Instagram-worthy, it’s the perfect hangout. (Because let’s face it, a smoothie this good deserves a post!)
The menu made it so hard to choose because everything looked amazing, but here’s what I ordered:
✨ OG Acai Bowl ($14)
Topped with granola, strawberry, blueberry, banana, coconut, cacao nibs, and hemp seed. I added layered almond butter, which was a great decision. The portions are generous, filling, and perfectly balanced. The almond butter added just the right amount of creaminess and sweetness. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing about this bowl—it was everything I needed!
✨ Strawberry Cloud Collagen Skincare Elixir Smoothie ($11)
This smoothie features marine collagen, sea moss, strawberry, banana, coconut cream, dates, agave, and coconut milk. Some call it a dupe for Hailey Bieber’s Erewhon smoothie, and I get the hype! It’s a classic strawberry smoothie—simple but so satisfying. While it didn’t blow me away with uniqueness, I’d still order it again.
With two Edmonton locations and one in Sherwood Park, HEAL Wellness is a must-try for anyone who loves acai bowls and smoothies. And if you’re not up for venturing out, they’re on Skip the Dishes, so you can have their goodness delivered right to your door.
Explore their menu and find your nearest location on their website. Happy HEALing! ✨
