Makeup Monday: Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation

I’ve written about my favourite foundations before, but today I want to highlight the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation. This is my current favourite foundation and it deserves a moment in the spotlight.

The Product

The Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation retails for $82 CAD and is available in 40 shades. It is a natural finish, medium coverage, luminous foundation. 

The foundation is oil-free which makes it perfect if you have oily skin, but it also doesn’t dry your skin out. I have dry skin and a myth is that oil-based products will hydrate and prevent dry spots, but that’s not the case. The Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation is a luminous foundation, so it provides the natural glow everyone wants without the extra oil. 

The Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation is formulated with Micro–fil™ technology which allows for seamless blending and layering. I love that this foundation allows you to build up coverage because you can apply a light layer for simple days or you can go full-coverage. 

The Review

I love trying new foundations and have a few different favourites, but the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation is at the top of my list. 

I have dry, pale skin so it’s often difficult to find a foundation that matches my skin tone and doesn’t dry my skin out. I love the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation because there are so many different shades and it was so easy finding a match for my skin. I also love that it’s a luminous foundation because it doesn’t dry out my skin like matte foundations do, and it’s luminous without being shiny. 

The other great thing about the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation is that it applies gorgeously. It is so silky and blends effortlessly and seamlessly. It doesn’t dry fast, which allows you to work it into your skin, and a little bit goes a long way. 

You can also layer the foundation to build up your desired coverage, which makes it great for day to night wear. It’s also longwearing and won’t move or fade throughout the day.

Like I said earlier, I’ve tried a lot of different foundations and I have a few go-to’s, but none of them compare to the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation. 

PROS: Buildable coverage, many shades, doesn’t dry skin out, leaves skin glowy, one bottle lasts a long time

CONS: Expensive

Would I buy it again? Yes, I would! This is my favourite foundation and I haven’t found a foundation that even compares. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it and one bottle lasts a long time.
