Happy Makeup Monday! I’ve recently been infatuated with liquid blushes (like the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush), and I was recently given the Glossier Cloud Paint. It’s my friend’s favourite blush and I couldn’t wait to give it a try.

The Product
Glossier Cloud Paint is a cream blush that retails for $22 and is described as “the most user-friendly blush under the sun.” It’s a buildable gel-cream blush that is sheer upon application. The description says the product has special blurring pigments that give the product a soft focus effect.
Glossier Cloud Paint comes in eight shades and is a 2021 Glamour Beauty Award Winner. It’s cruelty free, dermatologist-tested and formulated without fragrance.
The Review
Everyone I know who’s tried this product raves about it, so I couldn’t wait to try it. I have the Glossier Cloud Paint in the shade “Puff,” which is described as a light cool pink. I’ve recently adapted more cream products into my makeup routine, and I don’t have a blush in this shade of pink, which made me even more excited.
I don’t typically like applying makeup with my fingers (I’m all for the beauty blender), but I know that’s what makes the Glossier Cloud Paint so easy to use. The formula is super creamy, pigmented and easy to work with. Only apply a super small drop because a little goes a long way.
I squirt a small amount on my fingertips and then dab it onto my cheeks with my finger. The product is really easy to blend and you don’t need a brush or beauty blender, however, you could use one if you wanted. The best part about the Glossier Cloud Paint is that you can build it up to your desired coverage.
PROS: Easy to use, buildable coverage, pigmented
CONS: You have to spend $40 for free shipping in Canada
Would I buy this again? I wouldn’t mind trying another shade, however, I do prefer the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush formula.
