Does anyone else struggle with finding shampoo and conditioner that works for their hair? I spent the last year on a quest to find the perfect shampoo and conditioner, and my hunt ended when I tried the Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner. I even tried Olaplex and even that didn’t work for my hair (read my Olaplex review here).

My hair is naturally blonde, thick, and used to be voluminous, but has lost some volume throughout the years. My main problem with most hair products is that my hair gets oily easily and it’s always something I’ve been insecure about. It’s an annoyance more than anything though. I needed a shampoo and conditioner that would keep the oils at bay while also hydrating my hair because I use heat on my hair approximately every second day after washing.
I first tried Olaplex because everyone was raving about those products, however, they left my hair extremely greasy and even left a film after washing my hair. It felt like I couldn’t get the product out of my hair no matter how thoroughly I washed. Disappointed, I went to a beauty store and told the worker all about my problems and she recommended Pureology.
I’d never tried Pureology before and honestly hadn’t heard much about it either, but I trusted the worker. I went home and used it that night and fell in love instantly. That was a few months ago and I just repurchased it because why try something new when I’ve already found a product that works.

Why I love the Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner
The Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. I know that’s not super important, but who doesn’t want their hair to smell nice? The scent is minty and fresh, and isn’t overwhelming which is important to me because I am sensitive to strong fragrances. The product makes your hair smell clean which I love.
I use heat almost every day, so I wanted a hydrating shampoo and conditioner to combat any frizziness and the Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner delivers. My hair doesn’t get tangled anymore and it feels so soft which also makes it bouncier. It even looks shinier. Honestly, my hair has never been this healthy before.
Another concern of mine was greasiness because a lot of hair products make my hair greasy, but the Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner don’t at all. I wash my hair every second day, and I can even go with every third day sometimes since I started using these hair products.
The other benefit of the Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner is that a little bit goes a long way. I have thick, shoulder length hair and I use the smallest drop of product as possible and it does the job. The product also lasts longer than most because of this. I used the regular size bottle for about six months before I ran out.
I highly recommend the Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner if you have dry, thick hair. The products work miracles.
