Every second Sunday starting today I’ll be posting a skincare product review. It could be a product I’m raving about or a product I never want to use again.
For the first Skincare Sunday, I chose a product that I feel is under-hyped. Keep reading to see what it is!
The Product
Mario Badescu is known for its wide range of products, including facial sprays. I’ve tried a few Mario Badescu facial sprays before, but the one that stands out the most is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile, and Lavender. The spray retails for $16 CAD and is available in three other scents:
- Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater
- Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea
- Aloe, Sage, and Orange Blossom
The light mist is supposed to help with relaxation, hydration, and calming. It is good for all skin types and is an Allure Best of Beauty winner.
The Review
I love Mario Badescu facial sprays. They are underrated and should be hyped up more often. I’ve tried the rosewater facial spray before, and it was good, but the lavender one is heavenly. Lavender is really good for sleep and relaxation, so I spray it all over my pillow and face before bed, and it seriously helps me fall asleep better.
PROS: It is refreshing, calming, and gentle.
CONS: I wish the smell lasted longer than it does.
Would I buy it again? Yes! It’s not a must-have, but it’s an inexpensive luxury to have.
