Makeup Monday: Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow

The Product

For the first Makeup Monday, I’m sharing my review on the Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow. The liquid eyeshadow is available in five colours, has a satin finish, and retails at Sephora for $26 CAD. The shades range from beige to peach to berry. 

The Review

I have the shade Nearly Rose, which is described as a soft tea rose pink. I received this eyeshadow as a gift, and I’ll admit it’s not a product I would have purchased myself. I’ve never tried liquid eyeshadows before and never had a desire to use them. My mind was completely changed after using the Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow for the first time. 

The liquid eyeshadow dries to a powder finish and blends super easily. It is also waterproof and crease-proof. What I love most about the Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow is that it is easy to apply and blend. I use my fingers to blend, but you can also use a brush. 

The colour is also gorgeous. I was nervous that it would be really bold, but it blends out naturally. The colour is also buildable, so you can keep it light or keep applying until you get your desired shade. The colour doesn’t even fade after hours of wear.

PROS: You can do your eye makeup in five minutes and it will look effortlessly natural and flawless. 

CONS: I wish there were more shades that aren’t berry-toned. 

Would I buy this product again? Yes, I would and I highly recommend the Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow if you want an easy-to-use product that looks like you spent hours perfecting your makeup.
