Happy Makeup Monday! Setting powder is a crucial step to my makeup routine, and I would be lost without the Too Faced Peach Perfect Setting Powder. I’ve tried a few different high end and drugstore powders before finding the Too Faced Peach Perfect Setting Powder. It’s game changing, plus, who doesn’t want their face to smell like peaches?

The Product
The Too Faced Peach Perfect Setting Powder is a mattifying loose setting powder and retails for $34 USD. The powder comes in a translucent shade and caramelized peach shade.
The powder is oil and shine free, and works to brighten skin and create a smooth canvas for the rest of your makeup. It’s also great for under-eye baking. The powder used to be available at Sephora (and still might be depending on your store, but it’s not available online), but it is available on Too Faced’s website.
The Review
I bought the Too Faced Peach Perfect Setting Powder under the recommendation of a Youtuber that I follow and I am so pleased with it. First of all, the packaging is brilliant. I love how the container has two lids: one that comes off and then a second lid to prevent the powder from spilling out. There is nothing worse than having your loose powder spill everywhere and it’s a waste of product.
The powder itself is also great. It smells like peaches and is to die for, but I understand scented products aren’t for everyone. The Too Faced Peach Perfect Setting Powder is also a mattifying powder, which might not be for everyone, but I find that it’s a soft matte. I use a luminous foundation (which you can read about here) and the powder doesn’t take away any of the glow. If anything, the powder softens the look of the foundation without looking too powdery.
I specifically love the matte finish for under the eyes because it prevents the concealer from creasing. I apply the powder under my eyes with a beauty blender and press it into the skin, and then I apply the powder with a big fluffy brush all over my face.
PROS: Smells heavenly, prevents concealer from creasing, great packaging
CONS: Scent is very strong
Would I buy it again? Absolutely! It’s my favourite loose setting powder.

I love your review. The product looks nice. Unfortunately, mattifying setting powders are not the best for my so dry skin…….
