Happy Monday! Today for Makeup Monday I’ll be sharing a review for one of my favourite lipsticks — the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick and Lip Liner.
I have dozens of lipsticks that I haven’t been able to wear over the last year because of the pandemic and I am so excited to finally wear them again. My absolute go-to lipstick is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick. The shade is gorgeous and natural looking. I know everyone hypes up this lipstick, but it is seriously so amazing.

The Product
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick is a matte finish and long wearing lipstick in a nude pink colour. The lipstick is available in matte, cream, gloss, and balm formulas. Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk collection includes a range of products from lipsticks to eyeshadows to blushes, so you can base your whole makeup look off the colour.
The Matte Revolution Pillowtalk Lipstick retails for $39 CAD and the Lip Cheat Liner retails for $27. Alternatively, you can purchase a mini Pillowtalk lipstick and lip liner in a set for $30.
The Review
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick and Lipliner are my go-to lip products at the moment. I have the mini lipstick and lip liner set which I take everywhere with me, and I highly recommend buying both products. The lipstick is a must-have because of its gorgeous, universally flattering shade, but the lip liner adds dimension to the lips. Finding a flattering lipstick is hard because of my pale skin, but the Pillow Talk shade looks natural and it goes with any makeup look.
The formula itself is also amazing. It’s a matte lipstick, yet it’s so creamy. You get the matte finish without the dryness that comes from matte liquid lipsticks. It’s also easy to apply. The tip of the lipstick isn’t the usual shape — it’s more of a square which surprised me, but it applies so smoothly.
I’ve heard some reviews saying that the colour looks brown and muddy on some skin tones, but I haven’t had that issue. Some reviews also say that the formula is drying, which I also haven’t experienced. If you’re a bit wary of the lipstick then I highly recommend trying the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in Pillow Talk. It’s the same gorgeous shade, but in a creamy, glossy formula.

Would I buy it again? Yes! I love the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick so much. The colour is perfect.
