I used to be obsessed with beauty Youtuber’s, and I’d spend hours watching makeup tutorials. It wasn’t uncommon to hear raving Sigma Beauty brushes reviews and I wanted to try them out myself to see if they stand up to the hype. I finally decided to buy some Sigma Beauty brushes, so keep reading to see what brushes I bought and my review!
The Brand
Sigma Beauty has some of the world’s best beauty tools and cosmetics. The products are award-winning and are recommended by makeup artists, influencers, and beauty editors. Sigma Beauty sells clean beauty, meaning all of its products are free of more than 70 harsh chemicals. The products are also vegan and cruelty-free.
I was extremely overwhelmed with all of the brushes (they have SO many), so I went with a few brushes from Sigma’s bestseller list.
Here’s what I bought:
F36 Tapered Cheek™ Brush ($28)
This blush brush is perfect for powdered products. The size and shape are perfect for blending blush flawlessly. I wouldn’t necessarily say this is a must-have brush, but I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a new blush brush. It is a bit pricey, but it’s high quality and I have nothing negative to say about it.
F74 Air Domed Buffer™ Brush ($25)
I LOVE this brush! The brush is for cream products, and it is amazing. I’ve had trouble finding brushes that work well with cream products, but the density and shape of this brush work perfectly to blend. My top concern with using brushes for cream products is that brushes often absorb so much product and leave streaks, but this brush doesn’t do any of that. I use this brush for cream blush, and it blends so nicely. You need this brush if you frequently use cream products!
F30 Large Powder Brush – Black/Chrome ($30)
This brush is an essential if you use loose powder. It is a bit pricey, but it’s something you’ll use often. You could probably find a cheaper option, but it might not last as long. Out of all the large powder brushes I’ve used in the past, this brush is the highest quality and has the softest bristles.
E25 Blending Brush ($16)
I wasn’t sure if I needed this brush, as I tend to use larger blending brushes for my eyeshadow, but I love the size of it. It is small and dense which makes it perfect for smaller areas of the eye, like the outer corner. It’s a must-have for precise blending.
E40 Tapered Blending Brush – Black/Chrome ($17)
This is a larger, all over blending brush for eyeshadow. I use it for my base shades and it blends so easily. I love that the brush itself is long rather than wide because it prevents you from blending the eyeshadow too far out. There’s nothing worse than blending and realizing you’ve blended all the way up to your eyebrow. This brush head allows you to control your blending easily.
E42 Precision Firm Blender™ Brush ($15)
This is another great brush for precision blending. I don’t have much to say about it, other than it’s great to have for really detailed eye looks. You probably don’t need this brush if you do simple eye makeup, but for the price it’s good to have.
F05 Small Contour Brush – Black/Chrome ($22)
I don’t use this brush as often as I thought I would when I bought it. I use it sometimes for bronzer, but I use the F23 Soft Angled Contour™ Brush more often. This brush isn’t a must-have unless you love doing intense contour.
F23 Soft Angled Contour™ Brush ($27)
If you use bronzer then you need this brush! It makes applying bronzer so easy thanks to the angle of the brush. It barely requires any blending. This brush is perfect for beginners or anyone who loves applying their makeup easily and quickly.
Overall, I am super impressed with Sigma Beauty’s brushes. They are all so soft and are top quality. I’ve tried many different brands of brushes in the past, but haven’t found a brand I love, and I’ve used brushes that were amazing until they started falling apart and brush hairs fell out. So far, Sigma Beauty is the clear winner. The brushes feel sturdy and long lasting. I highly recommend Sigma brushes if you are in the market for new makeup brushes.
